Our Clinician
Keni Church-Hines M.A. LCMHC
I specialize in providing compassionate and effective counseling services for individuals and families of all ages, ensuring a personalized approach that meets the unique needs of men, women, parents, and children alike.
I bring a wealth of experience in assisting clients through a diverse range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, panic, adjustment issues, the psychological aspects of bipolar disorder, substance abuse, grief, job stress, interpersonal conflicts, codependency, eating disorders, family concerns, anger management, PTSD, combat trauma, and crisis situations. In addition, I have a strong background in school-based mental health, addressing parenting challenges, behavioral issues, and attention/hyperactivity disorders in children.
My therapeutic approach is deeply empathetic and tailored to honor the unique developmental stage, individual differences, and cultural values of each client. I integrate a variety of treatment modalities—such as Brainspotting, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT)—to help dismantle irrational beliefs that contribute to pain, anxiety, and depression. I also draw on elements of Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Narrative Therapy to keep the focus on present challenges, while employing behavior therapy techniques for children and incorporating strategic and structural family therapy when appropriate.
This flexible, person-centered methodology is designed to empower clients by capitalizing on their strengths and readiness for change, ensuring a comprehensive and responsive therapeutic experience.
